Spring by Wildspirit

We are going to keep it local for this week’s item. It isn’t the first time that I featured products from Belgian design house Wildspirit based in Mariakerke/Gent (B). Todays item fits the time of year as it is called “Spring“.

Cross stitching gets down and dirty

The man behind this embroidery revolution is Phil Davison and this week he launches his book ‘Twisted Stitches’ (featured on BBC Radio 4 today).

Fancy cross stitching barbed wire on your guest towels? How about the new take on the traditional ‘Home Sweet Home’ design that succinctly says ‘Bollocks’.

Or maybe you’d like to stitch blood, gore, syringes or sex toys. Whatever takes your macabre fancy, Twisted Stitches is sure to cause a few heart murmurs in the more traditional, blue rinse sewing circles.
