this weeks it list comes from a very favorite blogger of mine perhaps because our blogs are quite different. i love editor & founder jaime derringers blog design milk (and dog milk!) because she finds the stuff i otherwise might not see. sleek, modern, and fresh, but very livable. and i like mixing that contemporary look up with my more eclectic, vintage vibe, so were a good fit. opposites attract and all of that. so, today, i bring you some of jaimes awesome modern design finds!

1. Helvetica shirt. It’s silly but I want it. Being self-employed means wearing lots of t-shirts and PJ pants, so this would be a great addition to my weekly lineup. 2. A chunky white Swatch. Ive been eying a white watch since Christmastime, and still haven’t taken the plunge. I have been setting my sights on a Swatch, like this 1980s Snowflake (believe it or not I owned the black version of this in the early 90s) or the 2010 Mister Pure. I know they’re completely different, but I’m looking for something that makes a statement and I think both of these are contenders.
3. Carved pet portrait stamp by Kozue. I’m pretty obsessed with my dog Beans, who is my cuddle buddy on cold winter days and my office buddy while I’m working. Since Christine found these for Dog Milk, I can’t stop thinking about having a stamp of Beans’ cute little face to plaster all over everything I own. 4. Some Fever Ray. I don’t own any Fever Ray, but from what Ive heard I’m missing out on not having the album. The Knife is one of my favorite bands, so when I heard Karin Dreijer Andersson had a solo project I was super excited. 5. A new mailbox. My post mailbox is so ugly that sometimes I’m surprised that my mail doesn’t commit suicide by jumping out of it. I have lots of options on my Pinterest, but I really love the Comparto from Mailboxes.co.nz.
6. I’ve always wanted this. I have no explanation for why. 7. Judy Ross pillow. I LOVE this color palette and would buy these pillows not only because I like them, but because I want to build an entire room around them. I love the color names too: Cream, Iron, Oyster, Russet. Bring it on, Judy Ross.

8. A custom painting by Tyson Anthony Roberts made from a personal photograph. Again, something that has been on my wishlist since last year but have not gotten around to commissioning. Soon! Soon!!! 9. Also dog-related are some new dog bowls and feeder. Since I have two dogs that are different sizes who share the same water bowl, it’s been challenging to decide what the best configuration is but the time is coming soon where we need to ditch the ugly tray and bowls for something more stylish. I love these wire feeders from Doca Pet. 10. a Quilt from DaintyTime. I keep looking at this and keep telling myself that it is too expensive, but when I think about the time it took to make, the price seems reasonable. Wouldnt be upset if it showed up on my doorstep…
