Usher In The Fall Season
We had a lot of fun all summer long, now it’s time for some fall frivolity before the sprint to the holiday season! Amid the apple picking, pumpkin selecting, and hay riding, you may want to decorate your home to reflect fall!
Some great tips to freshen your decor seasonally are to swap out accessories.
- Change throw pillows or their covers, opting for richer or slightly greyed tones to complement your decor. (Note, traditional fall colors may not complement your decor, so don’t feel that you need to use them to add an air of fall to your home. For example, if you decorate with blues and turquoise is your summer accessory color, then a grey or slate blue may be the perfect accent color for fall.)
- Add a cozy throw or two to add a textural element as …well as a means to fight off fall’s chill.
A Theater Retrofit is the Life of the Party
This was a retrofit project where the homeowner’s existing 300 sq.ft. theater was upgraded with all new equipment, which included a six-zone distributed audio system for entertaining. The theater went from a 5.1 to a 7.2 audio system and outfitted with a top-of-the-line JVC DLA-RS35U projector outputting 1080P resolution at 120Hz. The original 92” screen was replaced with a 115” Stewart Luxus Deluxe Screenwall, creating a far more immersive environment. A single RTI T4 remote controls everything.
